I had tickets to see Elton John at Honda Center last month, and was deliberating on pre-concert dining. Locations near the venue would be packed, and lean away from fine dining.
Chef Bruno Serato of Anaheim’s White House came, as he does for Caterina’s Club, to the rescue.
Serato is not only the owner of one of the best Italian restaurants in OC and a past Golden Foodie winner for his philanthropy—he’s a savvy marketer. He used social media to push his locale for … people going to Elton John.
The restaurant is just 3 miles from Honda Center.
Fellow foodie and Elton John fan Della Lisi and I did indeed do our pre-concert dining with Bruno.
Serato had us try his famous lobster ravioli, a decadent dish that disappeared fast. Craving more pasta, I had linguine with spinach and basil pesto. Della ordered the signature salmon chocolat: Atlantic salmon with Belgium white chocolate mashed potatoes, a combination entrée and dessert.
Guess where I’ll be doing my future Honda Center dining.
