The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond increased 0.2% to 2.7%.
The price of gold was up 0.2% to $1,292.
The price of oil was down 0.5% to $51.33 a barrel.
TECHNOLOGY
Alteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX) in Irvine dropped 5.9% to $65.03 and a $4 billion market cap. The data analytics software maker’s shares reached a 52-week high on Jan. 7 and have more than doubled in the past year.
RETAIL
Boot Barn Holdings (NYSE: BOOT) jumped 13% to $21.86 and a $619 million market cap following preliminary fiscal third-quarter 2019 results. Net sales rose 13% to $254 million, bolstered by a 9.2% increase in same-store sales. The shares have rebounded 39% since a 52-week low in December.
