Meruelo Enterprises Inc., Buena Park, reached an agreement to acquire 300-employee Doty Bros. Equipment Co., a pipeline-construction firm founded in 1935.
The acquisition broadens the infrastructure construction offerings of Meruelo, which also owns Herman Weissker Inc. and Cable Engineering Inc., the company said.
The acquisition is expected to be completed by Aug. 31. Financial terms were not disclosed.
