IN THE NEWS: Newport Beach-based R.D. Olson Development announced earlier this year it would no longer develop a hotel on the Hawaiian island of Maui and instead build an industrial building. The 137K-square-foot speculative project, which is being built next to Kahului Airport, is slated to cost $54M.
