Garden Grove-based Exbon Development Inc. has landed a $9 million contract to provide repairs and replacements of all buildings at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
Exbon is a privately held roofing contractor run by Chief Executive Janet Lee. The company has annual revenue of about $4.4 million. It has won about $17.8 million in defense contracts since 2006, when it was established.
Exbon’s work on the latest deal will include "repair, mostly through replacement, of built-up bituminous roofing, metal roofing, and other associated tasks, such as asbestos removal and lightning protection," according to Ashton Jones, Staff Sgt. of the U.S. Air Force.
The project is expected to be completed by early June, 2018.
