About 600 people attended the 17th annual Remarkable Women Awards held at the City National Grove of Anaheim on Oct. 16 where three Orange County women business owners were honored.

The event was hosted by National Association of Women Business Owners-Orange County chapter (NAWBO-OC).

The honorees were: Lisa Dale, CEO and founder of Seabreeze Management Company Inc., Lifetime Achievement; Laurie Rowen, cofounder of Montage Legal Group, Entrepreneur to Watch; and Jerri Rosen, CEO and founder of Working Wardrobes, Philanthropic Champion.

NAWBO-OC honors women business leaders who have “demonstrated success, leadership and passion in their chosen fields.”

The honorees were selected through a nomination and review process and represent a long established company, a start-up, and a nonprofit.

NAWBO-OC was founded in 1991 and provides business and professional development, informational resources, educational programs and workshops, networking and strategic relationships for about 300 women-owned businesses. The Orange County chapter is the largest NAWBO chapter affiliate in the country.
