Uscape Apparel has taken its penchant for turning collegiate collections contemporary with some new releases to benefit local food banks amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Lake Forest-based apparel company rolled out what it’s calling its Team Human collection, with all of the proceeds slated to go to OC meal providers and national non-profit Feeding America, which itself is made up of more than 200 soup kitchens, pantries and other organizations.
The collection includes hoodies ($55), crewnecks ($50) and T-shirts ($30) available at teamhumanu.com.
Uscape started in 2013, aimed at elevating collegiate apparel design with graphics of landscapes or building architecture unique to specific schools. It started out shipping shirts from founder and CEO Alex Nowlin’s frat house during his time as a student at Bucknell University.
Uscape took its first office space in Irvine in 2016 and more recently moved to Lake Forest with distribution now at about 400 stores in the U.S. and Canada.
