Santa Ana-based BioLargo Inc. was up 17.3% to 40 cents and a $35 million market cap. The iodine products maker said a licensee received Environmental Protection Agency approval for a product to sanitize drinking water for chickens.
HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based NuGene International Inc. was up 8.3% to 65 cents and a $26 million market cap. The skincare products maker’s shares had traded by midday at a rate more than twice its 90-day average.
