The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was down 1% to 2.32%.
The price of gold was flat at $1,088.
TECHNOLOGY
Irvine-based Western Digital Corp. was down 4% to $64 and a $14.8 billion on above average trading volume. The storage products maker said yesterday it would hold 49% of a data center joint venture in China with Unisplendour Corp. Ltd., the Beijing-based company that in September said it would buy 15% of Western Digital for $3.8 billion.
REAL ESTATE
Newport Beach-based CV Holdings Inc. was up 16% to 22 cents and a $9 million market cap. The REIT packages non-performing residential loans and said yesterday it completed its first securitization, valued at about $130 million.
