RESTAURANTS
Shares of two local restaurant chains rose when analysts at Stifel Nicolaus upgraded each to “buy” from “hold.”
Irvine-based Habit Restaurants Inc. was up 4.5% to $25.50 and a $650 million market cap. Stifel’s price target is $35. Shares had fallen about 30% in the last 90 days.
Costa Mesa-based El Pollo Loco Holdings Inc. was up 5.6% to $13.33 and a $510 million market cap. Stifel’s price target is $17. Shares had fallen about 40% in the last 90 days.
