The price of gold was up 1.87% to $1,214.70.
TECHNOLOGY
Santa Ana-based Ingram Micro Inc. was up 1.5% to $26.50 and a $4.1 billion market capitalization. The uptick followed a slip Tuesday after an SEC filing became publicly available that indicated Chief Executive Alain Monie unloaded some 42,000 shares of the company’s stock. Ingram Micro inked new distributor agreements with Smart Technologies Inc., a Canada-based developer of interactive technology.
HEALTHCARE
Shares of Irvine-based ChromaDex Corp. continued up ahead of the company’s first-quarter earnings report set for Thursday. The natural food and ingredients maker saw its stock rise more than 7% during midday trading to $1.35 and $144.8 million in market capitalization. ChromaDex reported in April that its annual revenue jumped 51% last year.
