The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond fell 1.47% to 2.41%.
The price of gold was up 1.2% to $1,207.
TECHNOLOGY
Aliso Viejo-based Smith Micro Software Inc. was up 3.1% to $0.92 and a market cap of $41 million. Smith Micro said it regained compliance with NASDAQ listing requirements. The software company needed at least $10 million of stockholder equity and achieved that by an August common stock private placement adding $5.3 million equity to its balance sheets.
