The S&P 500 was flat Friday in midday trading to 3,273.58.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.2% to 28,888.98, while the Nasdaq was flat at 9,199.53.
Crude oil was off 0.6% to $59.23 a barrel.
Gold rose 0.3% to $1,559.
The yield on a 10-Treasury bond was down 1.9% to 1.83%.
HEALTHCARE
Shares of CryoPort Inc. (Nasdaq: CYRX) were off 6.4% to $16.70, a day after the Irvine-based biologics transporter warned Thursday its fourth-quarter sales would likely come in below consensus estimates. The company had a recent market capitalization of $643 million.
Newport Beach-based drugmaker Evolus Inc.’s (Nasdaq: EOLS) stock fell 5.8% to $10.96 after releasing preliminary results for the fourth quarter. The company had a recent market value of $395 million.
