Midday Stock Roundup

Major U.S. indexes fell during midday trading as President Trump warned that trade talks with China may last past the 2020 elections.

The S&P 500 was down 1.1% at 3,080.38.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.4% to 27,387.66.

The Nasdaq dropped 1.1% to 8,471.51.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond plunged 7.6% to 1.7%.

The price of gold increased 1.1% to $1,485.70

The price for a barrel of oil rose 0.2% to $56.09

TECHNOLOGY

Irvine-based data analytics software maker Alteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX) fell 1.9% to $105.82 a share for a market cap of $6.9 billion. The shares have slid nearly 7% since Friday after rising 13% earlier in November.

SERVICES

Restaurant staffing company ShiftPixy Inc. (NASDAQ: PIXY) of Irvine slid 6.8% to 22 cents a share for a market cap of $7.9 million, falling for a second day after saying it was saying it was seeking an extension of time for filing its 2019 annual report to the SEC.
