HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based medical device maker Axonics Modulation Technologies (Nasdaq: AXNX) dipped 6.3% to $25.07 and a $699 million market cap. Shares are down about 15% since Thursday, when they surged following news that the company won FDA approval for its Axonics r-SNM System.
TECHNOLOGY
Costa Mesa-based Veritone Inc. (Nasdaq: VERI) jumped 14% to $3.23 and an $80 million market cap. Zacks Investment Research recently upgraded shares from a hold rating to a buy rating, with a $3 target price on the stock. Shares for Veritone, which provides businesses with artificial intelligence technologies, are currently trading at more than twice their average volume.
