The yield on the 10-year bond was down 1.2% to 1.75%.
Crude oil was up 1.4% to $58.96.
Gold was up 0.4% to $1,512.

Evolus Inc. (Nasdaq: EOLS) was up 4% to $18.22. The Newport Beach-based company, with a recent market value of $507 million, sells an injectable Jeuveau that’s seen as a rival to Allergan PLC’s Botox. The company is expected to be part of a fireside chat at the upcoming 2019 Cantor Global Healthcare Conference Oct. 2 in New York.
TECHNOLOGY
Costa Mesa-based Veritone Inc. (Nasdaq: VERI) shares were down 5% to $3.70 on an analysis Friday of the company’s stock from an online news site focused on the healthcare and technology sectors that outlined a downward trend in share value over the past six months. Veritone, which provides businesses with artificial intelligence technologies, had a recent market value of $83 million.
