RESTAURANTS
Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. (NYSE: CMG) rose 1.4% to $763.31 and a $21.2 billion market cap, down a tick from a new 52-week high of $765.64, hit earlier in the day. Morgan Stanley today maintained its equal-weight rating on the Newport Beach-based fast casual chain’s shares.
RETAIL
Boot Barn Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BOOT) climbed 2.7% to $32.91 and a $933 million market cap. The Irvine-based western wear retailer’s shares are up 90% year-to-date.
TECHNOLOGY
Skyworks Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: SWKS) increased 1.1% to $81.10 and a $14 billion market cap. Barclays downgraded the Irvine chipmaker’s shares to equal-weight; Raymond James upgraded shares to outperform.
Veritone Inc. (Nasdaq: VERI) fell 5.9% to $7.44 and a $151 million market cap. It’s scheduled to report results the first week in August.
