The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond ticked up 0.7% to 2.07%.
The price of gold was 1% higher at $1,415.
The price of oil jumped 4% to $60.13 a barrel.
TECHNOLOGY
Iteris Inc. (Nasdaq: ITI) in Santa Ana was up 2.4% to $5.24 and a $206 million market cap. The company, which makes sensors and systems to track transportation and agriculture, recently closed its $10.7 million buy of Tampa, Fla.-based traffic engineering firm Albeck Gercken Inc., which had about $8 million in revenue and $2 million in EBITDA last year. Iteris lost $7.8 million on revenue of $99 million last year. Shares are up 40% year-to-date.

Newport Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE) increased 3.3% to $2.70 and a $551 million market cap. Shares in the operator of natural gas fueling stations have risen about 56% year to date.
