The price of gold ticked 0.1% higher to $1,398.
The price of oil rose 0.6% to $57.40 a barrel.
REAL ESTATE
William Lyon Homes (NYSE: WLH) was down 3.2% to $18.73 with a market cap of $689 million. Shares in the Newport Beach-based home builder had risen about 8% through midweek, as industry stocks rose amid talks of a cut in U.S. interest rates.
TECHNOLOGY
Irvine-based data science and analytics firm Alteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX) was down 2.4% to $107.33 with a market cap of $6.7 billion. Shares have climbed 83% for the year.
