HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based NextGen Healthcare Inc. (Nasdaq: NXGN) was up 1.8% to $19.54 and a $1.3 billion market cap. The maker of software for medical and dental practice management reports results Thursday after markets close.
Avid Bioservices Inc. (Nasdaq: CDMO) in Tustin rose 3.5% to $3.59 and a $201 million market cap. Trading volume of 42,651 shares was about a fifth of its average daily volume of the past three months. The contract drug maker’s shares are still down 19% since May 8 when it replaced its chief executive.
