The Dow Jones Industrial Average was flat at 26,471.14.
The Nasdaq was down 0.1% to 8,109.21.
The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was down 1.3% to 2.50%.
The price of gold rose 0.8% to $1,290.
The price of oil was down 3.9% to $62.68 a barrel.
RESTAURANTS
Huntington Beach-based BJ’s Restaurants Inc. (Nasdaq: BJRI) was up 5.8% to $50.93 with a market cap of $1.1 billion. The restaurant chain, OC’s third largest, yesterday reported first quarter sales and profit that topped average analyst estimates.
HEALTHCARE
Evolus Inc. (Nasdaq: EOLS) in Newport Beach was up 4.1% to $28.85 with a market cap of $791 million. The company said Friday it expects the European Commission’s approval in three months to market its Botox-competitor product Nuceiva, also called Jeuveau, in the EU as well as Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein.
