CalAmp Corp. (Nasdaq: CAMP) rose 7.5% to $23.94 and has a market cap of $844.9 million. The Irvine-based company, which specializes in telematics products and services, reported second-quarter earnings Thursday of 31 cents per share, beating analyst expectations of 28 cents per share.
HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based Cryoport Inc. (Nasdaq: CYRX) rose 5% to $13.13 and a $374.5 million market cap. Shares of the life sciences shipping and packaging firm have doubled since April.
