Newport Beach-based William Lyon Homes was up 3% to $23.57 and a $753 million market cap. The home builder’s shares were up about 8% on the week following a positively received quarterly report.
HEALTHCARE
San Clemente-based TeleHealthCare Inc. was down 23% to 30 cents and a $46 million market cap on above-average volume. The firm makes software that lets patients and others share information remotely with caregivers.
TECHNOLOGY
Newport Beach-based Veritone Inc. saw shares of its initial public offering drop about 4% to $14.37 on its first day of trading. The ad placement company went public today, the second Orange County company to do so this week, along with Aliso Viejo-based FivePoint Communities Inc.
SERVICES
Acacia Research Corp. in Newport Beach was down 3.5% to $4.82 and a $247 million market cap on average volume. The patent licensing company owns a stake in Veritone.
