TECHNOLOGY
Irvine-based Western Digital Corp. was up 2.3% to $73.35 and a market cap of $20.9 billion. The memory products maker is rumored to bid on part of Japanese partner Toshiba Corp.’s flash memory business.
Aliso Viejo-based Microsemi Corp. was up 2.4% to $56.47 and a $6.5 billion market cap on moderate volume. The company makes chips for communication, aerospace, defense and data center applications.
