Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P 500 was down 0.3% in midday trading to 2,174.50.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.4% to 18,843.76.

The NASDAQ was up 0.3% to 5,292.96.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was down 0.2% to 2.23%.

The price of gold was up 0.2% at $1,230.

HEALTHCARE

Irvine-based Endologix Inc. was down 23% to $7.59 and a $628 million market cap. The maker of medical devices to treat aortic aneurysms said the Food and Drug Administration wants two more years of patient follow-up data for the Nellix EndoVascular Aneurysm Sealing System. J.P. Morgan downgraded company shares to “Neutral.”

RETAIL

Irvine-based Boot Barn Holdings Inc. was up 7% to $16.34 and a $431 million market cap. Citigroup upgraded the western wear retailer’s shares to “buy” with a price target of $19. Its share price has doubled since mid-June.
