Irvine-based medical device maker Masimo Corp. posted a 1% decline in third-quarter net income from a year earlier to $13.8 million.
The maker of patient monitors absorbed a $1.2 million charge connected to a pair of deals. Analysts had on average forecast Masimo would have $14.5 million in profit in the latest quarter.
Quarterly revenue rose 14% to $119.1 million. That fell short of the consensus forecast of $121 million.
Masimo didn’t offer guidance for the current quarter.
Wall Street expects Masimo to post a profit of $16.9 million on revenue of $129.6 million in the fourth quarter.
