Santa Ana-based Ingram Micro Inc. has acquired SoftCom Inc. in Toronto on undisclosed terms.

SoftCom provides cloud services, including Web hosting and domain management services.

SoftCom cofounder and former Chief Executive Turker Sokullu is expected to continue heading the company as executive director.

Ingram Micro Chief Executive Alain Monie said the acquisition is expected to help the company “further improve the way our global partners and customers sell, service and procure cloud-based solutions.”

Shares of Ingram Micro’s stock closed down about 1% Thursday at a market value of about $3.44 billion.

Ingram Micro is the world’s largest distributor of computers, software and other technology products and recently reported second-quarter profit of $69.7 million on revenue of $10.31 billion.
