Costa Mesa-based Experian Marketing Services has acquired Burlington, Mass.-based Conversen Inc. on undisclosed terms.
Experian Marketing Services is part of Experian Information Solutions Inc., which operates as the North America division of Dublin, Ireland-based Experian PLC.
The local unit of Experian is among the largest employers in Orange County, with about 1,200 workers.
Conversen provides data, analytics and marketing software. It taps into the mobile, social and web-based platforms to develop marketing technology tools.
“The acquisition of Conversen aligns with our commitment to invest aggressively in cross-channel marketing,” said Matt Seeley, president of Experian Marketing Services.
