The parent of Element Skateboards has promoted from within for the job of global general manager at the Costa Mesa-based brand.
Australia-based Billabong International Ltd. said Frank Voit will work with Element founder and President Johnny Schillereff on design, merchandising and marketing strategies for the brand worldwide.
Voit most recently served as general manager for the Element and RVCA brands in Europe. RVCA is another Billabong International-owned brand with headquarters in Costa Mesa.
He is expected to continue working from Europe until mid-2015 and then will transfer to Element’s Costa Mesa office.
