CSUF’s Fall Term Virtual

California State University-Fullerton said it is planning for the potential its fall semester will begin online and could gradually move to in-person instruction with added safety measures.

CSUF is the first of the 23 schools in the Cal State University system and the first major institution in OC to advise staff on how to teach courses later this year.

University officials previously told the Business Journal the school expects to lose $18.4 million to coronavirus refunds and revenue loss across operations. That could increase significantly with the move to online classes.

CSUF is one of the largest universities in California with about 40,000 students.
