VidCon will return to the Anaheim Convention Center for its 2015 edition, with a three-day run scheduled to start on July 23, according to the show’s website.
The event—produced by Missoula, Mont.-based VidCon LLC—has become a leading trade show and convention for makers and consumers of online videos.
The first show was in 2010 in a Los Angeles hotel with 1,400 attendees.
It moved to Anaheim in 2012. The 2014 event drew 18,000 fans and support from companies, including Taco Bell Corp. and Kia Motors America, both based in Irvine.
Tickets for next year’s show are on sale for $100 to $600, depending on how early they’re purchased and different types of attendee categories: “Community” (fans and consumers), “Creator” (content-makers), and “Industry” (the business of online video).
