Scottsdale-based Set Jet Inc. is now servicing a new route from Orange County to Aspen, Colorado starting this week.
Set Jet is a membership-based private charter operator co-founded by Tom Smith and offers flights to eight destinations currently with sights set on cities such as Los Angeles, New York and in Texas.
This is the company’s second route expansion for the year and its fifth route at John Wayne Airport (SNA). Seats for membership flights to and from Aspen are starting at $1,330.
“With the four-month extended booking period for Set Jet flights, we anticipate member demand carrying flight service through the fall when the airlines take the season off,” Chairman Steve Reynolds said in a statement.
Set Jet operates out of the ACI Jet facilities at John Wayne with around 18 charter flights a week. It started at the local airport in 2019 and offers direct flights to and from Scottsdale and Las Vegas as well.
