The Costa Mesa-based OC Fair & Events Center named Kathy Kramer its new Chief Executive.
The organization oversees events at the county fairgrounds campus that include weekend expositions and trade shows, as well as concerts at the Pacific Amphitheatre.
Its flagship event is the OC Fair, which in 2014 saw more than 1.3 million attendees, according to the group.
Kramer has served in vice president and deputy director roles at hospitality organizations in Canada, Arizona and Nebraska.
She replaces interim Chief Executive Doug Lofstrom, who has headed the group since 2013 and will retire.
Kramer begins her duties January 5.
