Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. signed on as the founding sponsor of the yet-to-be-completed $375 million Las Vegas Arena.
The U.S. unit of Japan-based Toshiba Corp.—which makes and markets a lineup of products that range from printers to software and digital displays—also acquired naming rights for a two-acre outdoor public plaza outside the arena, Toshiba Plaza.
The Irvine-based company will share sponsorship of the arena with Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Co., and be the exclusive supplier for digital signage and displays as well as multifunction printers and copiers.
Arena developers AEG and MGM Resorts International plan to complete the project next spring.
