Carter Hospitality Group, a Santa Ana-based owner and operator of hotels and wineries, has appointed Tom Kermabon as the new general manager of its two Temecula properties.Â
The new GM will oversee more than 300 employees at Carter’s 63-acre South Coast Winery Resort & Spa and the 109-acre Carter Estate Winery and Resort. Â
Kermabon has been a general manager at multiple properties with Omni Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels and Westin. He started his hospitality career in 1988 at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where he climbed the ranks for 16 years, and was most recently the GM at Hotel Nia in Menlo Park, Calif. Â
“With his deep industry experience, community engagement and passion for hospitality, Tom is well positioned to lead both of our Temecula properties into a new chapter of growth and success,” President Jeff Carter said in a statement.Â
Carter Hospitality’s portfolio also includes Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa in Texas and the Red Lion Hotel Lake Buena Vista South in Florida. Â
