Twenty Four Seven Hotels in Newport Beach added a management deal in Sacramento, its second in that market.
The company will run a Courtyard by Marriott property called Courtyard Sacramento Midtown. The renovated property is near UC Davis Medical Center and California State University-Sacramento
It will run the property for Mag Hotel Group in Newport Beach, which this month bought a leasehold interest in the hotel for $25.5 million, records show.
Twenty Four Seven operates one other Marriott-branded hotel near Sacramento.
“It’s a bit of expanding our footprint in a market once we gain a foothold,” said Drew Hardy, president.
The agreement follows a deal in October where the company nabbed management contracts on two Marriott hotels in Palm Desert. Those properties are near a couple of college campuses or facilities as well.
Twenty Four Seven runs 22 hotels in four western states.
