Webinar Software Provider Adds App-Connecting Tech

Web conferencing and webinar software company AnyMeeting Inc. in Huntington Beach is using Sunnyvale-based Zapier Inc.’s technology to help customers connect its products to popular business apps, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Constant Contact, Eventbrite, LinkedIn, and more than 400 others.

Customers, for example, can create a Salesforce lead when someone registers for an AnyMeeting webinar; add a webinar registrant from a Constant Contact signup form; or use Eventbrite to register attendees for AnyMeeting webinars.

“This is an important first step in helping marketers get actionable webinar and meeting data into the places their marketing and sales teams can best take advantage of it,” AnyMeeting Chief Executive Costin Tuculescu said in a news release.

The company, founded in 2011, has 800,000 registered users. It offers free service, plus “Meeting Pro” and “Webinar Pro” subscriptions.

Music to Its Ears

FrontGate Media in Rancho Santa Margarita has been selected by Believe Digital SRL as the official agency for faith-based representation for the launch of the “Pope Francis: Wake Up!” music album in the U.S. market.

FrontGate will create and execute the public relations campaign and contribute to the social media and media placement strategies for reaching interfaith and multiethnic religious audiences.

“In the past 14 years of having worked to connect thousands of projects with the faith-based audience, the privilege to serve for Pope Francis is a humbling honor, and an exciting one,” Scott Shuford, the agency’s founder and chief engagement officer, said in a news release.

The agency will use its “Web & Events Network” to reach more than 10 million people and 5 million email subscribers. The album’s release is scheduled for Nov. 27.

The Rain Room interactive exhibit, created by London-based artist collective Random International, is part of Hyundai’s decade-long sponsorship of LACMA that was announced in March.

“At Hyundai Motor, we believe that the process of car creation is connected to that of art creation, because both cars and art are connecting technology and art in a noble way,” Chris Hosford, executive director of Fountain Valley-based Hyundai Motor America, said in a news release. “The partnership between LACMA and Hyundai Motor and its inaugural Art + Technology exhibition clearly demonstrates our shared vision that art and technology are both of utmost importance to understanding humanity and defining technology in the future.”
