Veritone Plants AI Flag At Microsoft

Costa Mesa-based Veritone Inc. (Nasdaq: VERI) said its aiWARE artificial intelligence system launched on Microsoft Azure Government, which works with federal and other government agencies to secure and store data in the Cloud.

Veritone President Ryan Steelberg noted new opportunities to expand the company’s state and federal work via the collaboration, “given Microsoft’s Cloud dominance in the government sector.”

Microsoft clients on its Azure platform can use aiWARE to gain “insights from their voluminous datasets with speed and scale.”

One possible use, for instance, is helping investigators manage video, audio, and photo materials to ID suspects in their cases.
