Qmerit Goes Nationwide with Electrical Services

Qmerit, which specializes in equipping buildings with electrical services, has launched a nationwide network for multi-site commercial and residential structures.

The company, with its administrative headquarters in Irvine, calls PowerForce by Qmerit the “first nationwide electrification service.” The company’s work includes charging installations for electric vehicles, according to its website.

PowerForce uses in-house developed AI systems to streamline electrical contractor management, eliminating the need to juggle relationships with multiple service providers in multiple locations.

Qmerit also handles solar panels, battery energy storage and smart panels to monitor and manage electricity usage. It delivers day-to-day electrical repairs, retrofit and modernization as well as “decommissioning” projects, emergency power systems and preventive maintenance.

Complex Projects to Maintenance, Repairs
Qmerit says PowerForce is also for general electrical projects – anything from advanced, complex jobs to maintenance and repairs.

It lets property managers “simplify everything from specialty electrical projects to preventive maintenance and daily repair services.”

Company President Tom Bowen is based in Irvine while other locally based executives help oversee such areas as customer service, business development and commercial services.
Qmerit, founded by serial entrepreneur Tracy Price, is privately held. Its sole outside investor is French-based international giant Schneider Electric.

The company has more than 70 employees based in Orange County, with a total of about 600 across the U.S.

It is one of several companies in OC that are riding the EV wave, including Rivian Automotive Inc. and battery developers Enevate.

PowerForce leverages Qmerit’s national scale and pioneering distributed workforce management technology to provide access to the country’s premier network of vetted and highly experienced commercial electrical contractors through one trusted partner and convenient platform.

One-Stop System Adjustable to Needs

Supported by a national network of 1,500 contractors and 24,000 certified electricians, PowerForce by Qmerit gives companies an answer to the skilled labor shortage, which has forced many commercial property managers to contend with delays and poor service.

All contractors certified by Qmerit are licensed, insured and background-checked electricians, and many offer advanced training and credentials to meet specialized customer requirements.

“PowerForce by Qmerit covers more than 3,600 locations across North America with a level of consistency and confidence nearly impossible to achieve on a site-by-site basis,” said Qmerit Chief Workforce Officer Eric Feinberg.

Qmerit’s services are delivered through a network of company-owned contractors, independent certified solutions partners and certified installers skilled in system implementation and integration. Qmerit partners with top automakers from the U.S., Europe and Asia.
