TECHNOLOGY

Artificial intelligence company Veritone Inc. (Nasdaq: VERI) in Costa Mesa fell 4.3% to $12.22 per share for a market cap of $339 million. Despite the dip, Veritone shares have gained 25% over the last month

HEALTHCARE

Irvine-based heart valve maker Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (NYSE: EW) rose 3.4% to $85 per share for a market cap of $53 billion. The SmarterAnalyst.com website said Oppenheimer today maintained a Buy rating on Edwards with a price target of $93. SmartAnalyst said Oppenheimer’s view is that Edwards climb “won’t stop here.”
