Irvine-based Kajabi LLC announced Tuesday that users of the company’s website building services have now generated $6 billion in collective sales since it was founded.
Kajabi counts roughly 60,000 clients, or “creators”, on its platform. An average customer makes $37,000 annually using its software, according to the company.
The tech firm’s gross merchandise volume (GMV) reached $5 billion earlier this year and it aims to make $9 billion in 2024. Kajabi reported that GMV, also called “creator revenue,” has increased 1,500% since 2017.
“In the meantime, we’re continuing to pioneer even more products and services that solely focus on helping our creators turn their knowledge, experience, and expertise into thriving online businesses,” Chief Executive Abad Khan said in a statement.
Khan reported the firm saw north of $100 million in annual recurring revenue in 2021.
