Hollywood and sports executive and entrepreneur Peter Guber will chair the newly formed advisory committee for Laguna Beach-based virtual reality content provider NextVR.
The founder and chief executive of Mandalay Entertainment—also part owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Golden State Warriors—will provide strategic guidance to the startup in its next phase of growth.
The other inaugural members include Scott Teissler, former executive vice president, chief technology officer and chief digital strategy officer for Turner Broadcasting System Inc., and sports media powerbroker Doug Perlman who counts stints with the NHL and IMG.
