Computer networking products maker Lantronix Inc. (Nasdaq: LTRX) said today that Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Whitaker resigned effective Sept. 13 to accept the CFO role at a private company.
Brent Stringham, currently the Irvine-based company’s controller, has been appointed Interim CFO while the company conducts a search for the next CFO. Stringham has been with Lantronix since 2012.
In addition, David McLennan, former CFO of Sierra Wireless Inc., who retired in 2020, has been engaged to provide consulting and advisory support during the transition, the company said in a statement today.
Shares in Lantronix dropped 7% to $4.13 apiece for a market cap of $157 million.
