Brown and Caldwell Chosen for Anaheim Water Project

Engineering and construction firm Brown and Caldwell said it has been chosen for a key role in a groundwater treatment plant project for the city of Anaheim.

The total construction budget is $80 million to $100 million, the Walnut Creek-based company said in a statement today.

“As owner advisor, Brown and Caldwell will assist Anaheim in the planning, procurement, and construction of the groundwater treatment plants,” the company said. “The firm’s responsibilities include procurement planning, project technical requirements definition, evaluating the best available delivery method, procurement support to identify and select design-build entities, and construction oversight.”

Brown and Caldwell said the project will “ensure water supplies continue to meet state and federal quality standards. An additional benefit will see Anaheim alleviate its reliance on imported water supplies.”
