Anduril buys American Infrared

 Acquired company specializes in infrared cameras

Anduril Industries said today it has acquired American Infrared Solutions, a company that specializes in the design and manufacture of high-performance infrared cameras and components. Financial terms were not disclosed.

American Infrared (AIRS), based in New Hampshire, has about 20 employees, according to industry website Defense Daily.

“The acquisition will further integrate AIRS’s advanced hardware into Anduril’s portfolio of sensing systems, expanding the range and capability of technologies available to customers,” Anduril said in a statement on its website today.
