WHY: Over past two decades has overseen operations for the commercial developer, which has its own in-house general contractor and builds across the product type spectrum, including Anaheim’s 352-room Cambria Hotel & Suites, Irvine’s MacArthur Business Center, and South Coast Metro’s two-building Skyline complex, the tallest residential towers in Orange County at 25 stories, and holding 349 units.
BY THE NUMBERS: Oversaw the opening of the company’s first senior housing community with the 2013 opening of Vivante Newport Mesa, a 296-unit assisted living facility a few blocks from Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian Newport Beach hospital. Second facility later built next door.
NEW ADDITIONS: Recently opened the $130 million Vivante Newport Center, a luxury retirement 99-unit apartment complex within walking distance of Newport Beach’s Fashion Island on former Orange County Museum of Art property. Inked agreement with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian’s to staff wellness centers within Vivante’s two local senior facilities.
FUTURE PLANS: Bullish on the senior living sector with plans in the works for a 198-unit project in the Dallas area.
