Boy Scouts of America, Orange County Council added two board members who are expected to expand leadership and career training for its youth members, grow the group’s STEM—science, technology, engineering and math—programs, and expand outreach efforts into underserved communities.
The Santa Ana nonprofit’s new board members are Deborah Harrington and Pat Posey.
Harrington is vice president and wealth advisor for First Bank, which is based in Lakewood, Colo. Her career has included business development, finance, trusts, investment management, and sales and marketing; she’ll serve as assistant treasurer on the board’s executive committee.
