Santa Ana-based Allied Universal, the world’s largest private security firm, said it’s acquired Atlanta security firm Norred & Associates Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Norred, which provides manned guarding, investigations and pre-employment screening, has revenue topping $36 million and more than 830 employees.
“This company has built a trusted brand through outstanding employee and client relationships,” Allied Global Chairman and Chief Executive Steve Jones said in a statement.
Jones has built Allied to more than 800,000 employees and $18 billion in annual sales.
