Vizio Adds STARZ Streaming to Smart TVs

Says newest addition marks 'significant advancement'

Vizio Holding Corp. (NYSE: VZIO) in Irvine said it added the STARZ streaming app to its Smart TVs.

The app adds titles such as “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” and STARZ originals “P-Valley” and “Outlander” to the entertainment lineup.

“The addition of STARZ marks another significant advancement in our commitment to provide our users with access to the programming they love and endless entertainment options for millions of users who begin their entertainment journey with VIZIO,” Katherine Pond, Vizio Group Vice President, Platform Content and Partnerships, said in a statement.

Streaming services available on Vizio’s TVs include Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, HBO Max, Peacock and Disney Plus, among others.

Shares in Vizio were up 2.7% to $10.70 apiece and a $2.1 billion market cap.
