Tiffany & Co. (NYSE: TIF) in December is set to open its Tiffany Blue Box Café at South Coast Plaza, marking its first North American expansion after the very first café on Fifth Avenue in New York.
The café, which boasts seating for 45 and will be a permanent feature of the space, will open initially with limited service before expanding to the full offering in the spring. The brand had offered a temporary breakfast service via the Blue Box Café concept at its Beverly Hills store last year.
The Blue Box Café news comes as the jeweler prepares to relocate into a new, expanded space at South Coast Plaza that about doubles its footprint at the Costa Mesa shopping center to roughly 12,000 square feet.
Tiffany is currently located in South Coast’s Nordstrom wing, near Chanel and Dior. When it moves, it will be just off of the Carousel Court, next to Nathan Alan Jewelers and across from Anne Fontaine and Microsoft.
Tiffany counts 18 stores in the state.
